Therefore, the NGO Join Bands not Gangs (JBNG) aims to get 8-14 year old children excited about music and gives them access to instruments and lessons. The statistics actually show a decline in gangstarism. The protagonist, Dylan, is on of the supported kids trying to find his way in a child-unfriendly environment. But as life goes not all is well all the time. Only 5 months after shooting the project, Dylan, despite all his efforts, joined a gang which led to his grandmother's death by heart attack when hearing the news. We want to keep the part of him before this fatal decision alive and dedicate the project to the brave and ever fighting heroes that run NGOs and keep going no matter the setbacks.
